Mt. Hebo
6 Meter Sprint
Here's some pictures I took Saturday May 13th
during the Spring Sprint.
The view!

You can clearly make out the Pacific
Ocean and a rock off shore.

The city of Tillamook on the Oregon Coast.

Tillamook at night.

The site on Mt. Hebo.

Here's the mount for my mast attached
to my spare tire mounting bracket.
I slip the mast down inside the 2 inch
diameter pipe and hold it from turning
with the 1/4 inch bolt used as a setscrew.

Assembling it all.
I joined two pieces of conduit together one
smaller than the other. Two 1/4 inch
bolts used as setscrews.

Three element 6 meter yagi with a
2 meter loop on top, ready to
go up.

In the air!

Home away from home
complete with pizza, FT-897D and a Gateway laptop.

Here's where the action was.

In four hours I made 17 contacts,
in 8 grids,
for a total score of
136.
